My personal branding of Travelling

My love for travelling as extended so far,

Never been camping before New Zealand? Whilst it may not be the most luxury form of holiday, camping can be a lot of fun and remains as popular as ever. Here are .

Welcome to kiwi territory!

Even though New Zealand is a small country, it has a ton to offer especially for hiking and high-adrenaline activities. You can easily spend a month on one island and still have more to do there, so in general I give the recommendation of staying at least 5 weeks if you plan to travel across both islands . I’ve listed some highlights from my own research and experience .

Rules :

Try your hardest to follow the rules and steps they outline – it’s sort of like making a first impression on a date. You want to make a really good impression, proving that you are a model citizen, so they won’t put you through extra steps to enter and stay in the country.

My opinion :

You want to build a personal brand but even these two words are thrown all over the place like it is easy to do when it is not.

The currency today is grabbing attention but even that’s not enough in a world where everyone is trying to get someone’s attention.

You need to be…memorable too.

You got to stand for something and the message needs to be consistent with revealing track record, but it’s not just you who says it but rather other people saying it, sharing it and can direct people to you.

The digital age can help speed this up but also need to keep your fingers on the pulse with the offline world too.

You need to have meaning that connects with people.

It is this meaning people carry in their mind, which they share to people they meet, talk to, socialise with, work with and even do business with.

So it’s people carry the meaning about you (Personal) and then they share to other people. The more people (the more reach) the more people talk about you (it increases your reputation).

= Personal Brand

There are many walks in New Zealand where you can walk through the bush for days on end enjoying the countryside. However make sure you have the gear to do this. If things go wrong in the wilderness you can die quickly.

Security :

New Zealand has strict Biosecurity laws. Importing food, even from the plane is forbidden. Even dirty shoes can be a risk.

When in doubt declare everything. Or pay a fine.
